What we’ve been working on
A snapshot of recent projects where we've rolled up our sleeves and helped good people do good things.
Wednesday 66
Immersive storytelling platform

Description
Wednesday 66 is a London-based production company with a humanitarian mission to professionally document global diaspora stories. Their flagship initiative is the Aguda Returns series.
Our role
We shaped every aspect of Wednesday 66’s digital world: branding, copy, website build, and all the behind-the-scenes setup that keeps it running smoothly. We had a simple goal to give their creative team a confident, functional home for stories that matter.
The Bike Project
Ride-ready fundraising campaign

Description
The Bike Project (London) repairs donated bikes and matches them with refugees, helping new arrivals travel safely and affordably.
Our role
We helped The Bike Project reimagine their story for a new generation of supporters. Our team worked with former refugees to co-create a short social series outlining the full donation journey, that put their riders at the centre. The refreshed content sparked higher engagement and helped new donors see the real impact behind every wheel turned.
City Harvest London
Community Connection Series

Description
City Harvest London rescues surplus food and delivers it free of charge to frontline charities feeding people across London.
Our role
We built the Community Connection Series to help City Harvest show the real faces behind their impact. Our team produced a storytelling toolkit, custom templates, and photography assets that made it easy for staff and volunteers to share authentic moments from across London.
Client testimonials
Voices from the organisations, creatives, and students who trust the Freelance for Good model.
" Freelance for Good helped us turn fragments of story into a fully realised world. They listened, challenged, and shipped a site that honours our filmmakers and the communities we champion. "
Mark Thompson
Co-founder, Wednesday 66
" We arrived with a messy brief and left with a campaign kit that feels like our young riders created it themselves. Their student designers led with empathy and the mentoring was gold. "
Emily Martinez
Programme Lead, The Bike Project
" City Harvest now has a volunteer journey that matches our energy. The team handed over every asset, trained our staff, and still check in so we can keep scaling food rescue with confidence. "
Laura Simmons
Head of Impact, City Harvest London
" Leading this delivery through Freelance for Good reminded me why I freelance. High impact work, trusted ownership, and the chance to bring a student into the fold from day one. "
Alex Foster
Lead Designer & Mentor
" From the first scoping call to handover, everything was transparent and human. We have reusable templates, a comms plan, and the confidence to keep iterating. "
Jessica Collins
Communications Manager, Local Charity Network
" I mentored on the Harbour Lights build. Watching our student developer grow in confidence—and get paid for it—was the best part of my year. "
Michael Carter
Freelance Developer & Volunteer Mentor
